The business-to-business affiliate program for LinkedIn creators

This LinkedIn creator affiliate program pays business-to-business creators commission when followers they introduce buy growth technology, data or marketing services that Random Income sells and delivers. Your comments and DMs become warm introductions, your profile page becomes the link, and our team handles the sale. Creators join as 1099 independent contractors and disclose every material connection.

Your comment section is a pipeline

A creator who posts consistently to a business audience on LinkedIn builds something most salespeople never have: a few thousand decision makers who read your thinking, recognize your name and reply when you ask a question. When you write about AI search, sales data or growth, the comments fill with owners and executives describing their own version of the problem. Some of them message you privately afterward.

That is a warm introduction waiting to happen. The follower has already raised their hand, trusts your judgment and is asking what to do next. Most creators answer with a free recommendation or a link to someone else's product. A business affiliate program lets you make that recommendation properly, disclose it and be paid when it turns into a sale.

Every industry is a geek away from being uberized, and LinkedIn is where business buyers go to read about it. Creators who explain that change, and can point to practical next steps, are well placed to connect the dots.

From DM to warm intro, step by step

The mechanics are deliberately simple, so the referral feels like a favor rather than a pitch.

  • A follower comments or sends a message describing a problem, such as competitors showing up in AI answers or a sales team calling cold lists.
  • You reply privately, ask one clarifying question and, if it fits, mention the service and your referral relationship in the same message.
  • If they want an introduction, you send your Random Income profile link or upload the referral in your back office.
  • Random Income runs discovery, proposals, delivery and support. You do not sell, price or follow up on a contract.
  • Your back office shows every click, form and quote request, so you know if a friendly check-in makes sense.

A warm intro script that does not feel like selling

Most people on LinkedIn are tired of pitch-slapping DMs. The way to stand out is to be specific, honest and easy to decline. A pattern that works:

Thanks for the comment on my post about AI search. You said customers keep finding a competitor through AI assistants. There is a team that works on getting businesses cited in those answers. Full disclosure, I have a referral relationship with them and may earn a commission if you work together. Happy to introduce you if useful, and no worries if not.

That message names the problem in their words, makes the disclosure plain and asks permission. If they say no, you have lost nothing and probably earned some respect.

What fits a business audience

The offers that convert best on LinkedIn match the topics business creators already write about.

  • AI visibility: Quuik, Trusted GPT, to get businesses cited by AI and answer engines.
  • Sales and pipeline: Predictive Data for in-market signals in the CRM, and vrtcls.marketing for intent-based outbound email.
  • Personal brand and authority: FeatureMe for features across top brands and publications.
  • Positioning and messaging: MoneyWords.org, which maps the highest-value money words in the market to the offer.
  • Founders with an idea: Fast Start, and the Big Idea application at jeff-cline.com/idea, where owners can see whether they qualify for a larger technology investment.

Your profile page as the link that does the work

Every Strategic Partner gets a profile page at randomincome.com/first-last, with a share link, a QR code and a back office. For a creator, that page becomes the natural destination in a featured section, a comment reply or a newsletter footer. It explains what you recommend and why, so you do not have to repeat yourself in every thread.

It also changes how you measure content. Instead of guessing which posts matter, you can see which referrals clicked, which filled in a form and which asked for a quote. Over a few months that tells you which topics your audience actually acts on. A post about AI search might drive more serious conversations than a post with ten times the reactions, and that is useful to know.

A practical rhythm: one or two posts a week on the problems your audience faces, replies to the comments that describe a real need, and a short DM to anyone who asks for more. That fits comfortably inside about two focused hours a week, and nothing about it requires you to change the voice your followers already trust.

Disclosure on LinkedIn

The FTC Endorsement Guides apply to social posts and private messages. If you recommend a business and could earn a commission, disclose that clearly and close to the recommendation, in plain words such as I may earn a commission or I have a referral relationship with this company. Put the disclosure in the post itself, not only on your profile, and include it in every DM where you suggest the service. Use LinkedIn's own disclosure tools where they apply, and follow its professional community policies on promotional content. This is general information, not legal advice.

Affiliate creator, not outside sales rep

Search for commission-based sales on LinkedIn and you will find plenty of outside sales representative roles with quotas, territories and pipeline reviews. This is not that. Strategic Partners are 1099 independent contractors, never employees. You only refer, and Random Income does the rest.

On stack products, commission is a percentage of retail calculated on redline, the price floor: 20% when the client buys entirely online untouched, 12% when an in-house Random Income rep works the deal, and pro-rata to redline if we negotiate. Fast Start ($32,500 a month) and the Joint Venture build ($18,200 a month) pay your percentage only of the monthly SaaS fee actually collected, with no equity and no success fee. Investor-funded deals pay a one-time $5,000 referral fee. Business-posted offers pay 50% of what the business pays Random Income.

We pay on the 21st of the month after we are paid, once your balance reaches $500, after you upload an ID and a W-9, and we issue a 1099-NEC. The time commitment fits the 2-hour work week: about two focused hours a week, mostly spent in conversations your content already starts. FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the LinkedIn creator affiliate program at Random Income?

It is a business-to-business referral program for creators who post to professional audiences. You introduce followers who raise a relevant problem to growth technology, data and marketing services in our stack, and Random Income handles the sale and delivery. You earn commission on what they buy, as a 1099 independent contractor, with every connection disclosed.

How do I make a warm intro on LinkedIn without being salesy?

Start from the follower's own words, ask one clarifying question, then mention the service and your referral relationship in the same message. Offer the introduction as optional and make declining easy. If they want it, send your profile link or upload the referral, and let Random Income take the conversation from there.

Do I have to disclose referral commissions on LinkedIn?

Yes. The FTC Endorsement Guides require clear disclosure of material connections, including possible commissions, close to the recommendation. Disclose in the post and in any DM where you suggest the service, not only on your profile. Follow LinkedIn's own policies on promotional content as well. This is general information, not legal advice.

How is this different from a commission-only outside sales job on LinkedIn?

There is no quota, territory, schedule or salary, and you never run a sales process. You only refer, and Random Income handles discovery, proposals, negotiation, delivery and support. Strategic Partners are 1099 independent contractors who choose when to refer, and they can see activity on every referral in their back office.
